Not to be confused with "Murder By Television" starring Bela Lugosi. This film is about a young inventor trying to get his television system financed. A gang of crooks are out to stop him. This film is considered science fiction by many because the concept of television was still on the drawing boards in the 30's, but it's also a comedy. Stars Lyle Talbot, Mary Astor, Nat Pendleton, and Joyce Compton. Whether you would consider this scifi or not, you should find it entertaining anyway.

Early Television Comedy: "The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show", episode "Gracie's Checking Account", originally aired 7 December 1950 (Season 1, Episode 5). A charming light 'Live TV' comedy, and well-suited to those who need something cheerful to, well, cheer them up. Complete with original commercials for Carnation evaporated milk. Please forgive the mediocre picture quality, as my DVD source is flawed.

This is the original interview footage from the documentary film Uncovered: The War on Iraq , produced and directed by Robert Greenwald. The film, which has drawn attention for its pointed criticism of the Iraq war, consists largely of interviews with former government officials such as John Dean, Madeleine Albright, and Admiral Stansfield Turner. Greenwald said, ÂIn making Uncovered, I learned how cumbersome and expensive it can be to license footage from news organizations. The Creative...

A series of 1950 short films on how to survive a Zombie Holocaust. This film was created using a lot of Public Domain films from the Prelinger Archives, so it makes sense that it should reside in Archive.org What To Do In A Zombie Attack DVD What To Do In A Zombie Attack DVD

Batteries Not Included is a film that I put together early this year, after I made the film I did not know what to do with it because it is so much different than the Experimental art films that I am most known for doing. I decided to release this film on the internet and I thought the best place to do this would be right here on the Internet Archives. About the Film: Almost as long as I have been a filmmaker I have also been a film collector. I have for many years wanted to assemble a...

Old Time Radio Programs "Sunrise and Sunset, Promise and Fulfilment, Birth and Death, The whole Drama of Life is played out in the Sands of Time" This is a great series where the main theme seems to be Retribution. Imported from Austrailia it ran from 1946 until 1948. Stories as told by Father Time. Sort of like Twilight Zone for the radio.

This series ran from 6/3/49 to 2/26/57 on NBC at various times and days and starred Jack Webb as Detective Sergeant Joe Friday. Various partners throughout the show's run were Sergeant Ben Romero (Barton Yarborough), Ed Jacobs (Barney Phillips), and Officer Frank Smith (Ben Alexander). Webb was the creator/Director of the series and wanted everything to be as authentic as possible, down to the last sound effect. The stories were based on actual police files and "the names were changed to...
